Create a New Project

Create a new project is a wizard in four steps. You find the wizard under the projects tab. To create a new project click on create new project. If you are in another project, you need to go back to the projects list, and then click on create a new project.

In a wizard you can close after the first step if you want to, changes gets saved between each step. In the project wizard the last two steps (3 and 4) give you the possibility to batch create measuring points from sensors that you select. This is an effective way of jump starting a project with many measuring points. Measuring points can be created at a later point, but then you’ll have to create them one by one.

Fill in Project information: (Step 1 / 4)

  1. Project ID (The unique identifier for the project). This is mandatory.

  2. Project name

  3. Time zone (The time zone the project is in). This is mandatory, and is used to ensure that information within the project get presented with the right time context.

  4. Active from- Active to, It is better to choose dates before and after the actual start and stop time of the project. The time can be changed later.

  5. Customer, Customer contact and Project maintainer are optional and used in data searches. Project maintainer is the person responsible for the project, either a user or an administrator. Easiest way to add a role is under the user tab.

  6. Blast standard is optional and only used for activating blast functionality on the project. If blast is used you get more menues. Currently only Swedish standard is supported. If you choose blast standard you can not take it away, and then you have lots of extra menues you don´t need. Blast standard can be added later on.

  7. Click on save and continue.


Project location: (Step 2 / 4)

This is where the bag is placed on the map. The bag is the center of the project.

There are three different ways to place the bag.

  1. Use the map and put the pin where the project is located.

  2. Fill in Latitude and Longitude.

  3. Use the X and Y coordinates

Click on save and continue.


Add sensors: (Step 3 / 4)

Choose the sensor you want to use for measurement. These sensors will be used to bulk create measuring points. You can search on serienumber or sensor type.

Click on save and continue.


Set up measuring points: (Step 4 / 4)

  1. If you have many different measuring points, then you can put them in order. The order is in what way data is being shown in reports.
  2. You have the possibility to use individual starting times on the measureing points.
  3. Description can be used to write address or description of property.

Click on save and continue.

If you want to change the settings in step 1 after you have created your project you

  1. Click on settings in your project

If you want to change the project location after creating the project you

  1. Click on map

  2. To place your measuring points click on the drop map1

  3. Drag and drop the measuring points onto the map


  1. When you click on the measuring points on the map you get information
  2. You can edit the location and writing coordinates


Import a project

  1. You have the possibility to import projects from an older system. It is only the administrator roll that can do this.

  1. Clicking on this button refreshes the projects list.
